About Me

I used to write articles for The Grizzly Magazine when I was going to school at Butler County Community Collage. Theoretically, this should be easy for me, but guess what, it's not. I haven't written anything for others to see since 2020. That was my senior year at Emporia State University, so it's been five years, and I'm a little rusty.
I should tell you about my family if I'm going to write about them. Ezra is four, and he thinks he runs the world. He loves cars and dinosaurs, so any cartoons with a car or dinosaurs we watch nonstop. Sophia was born in February and is growing like a weed. She is starting to smile and sit up.

Luke, my husband, thinks it's fun to use 3d printers, fix computer problems, and workout. He gets me out of my comfort zone and makes me watch his shows I'm slowly starting to like. I can't tell him, or it will go to his head.
When I moved in with Luke, I had a job offer but I couldn't find a daycare I thought would work for us. I had a lot of time to think and develop ideas about what I want to do and starting a blog was one idea. When I brought them up to Luke and friends, they say to go for it. I tried but got scared and stopped.
Sunday in church our friend gave the sermon, it was his last day before stepping into a new calling from God. He talked about the story of Simon Peter walking on water and how when we are scared that is how we know we are taking our focus off God and satin is trying to keep us from what we are called to. That got me thinking about this blog. I made it and had some post but never shared it because I was scared. So this is me stepping out of the boat and keeping my eyes on Jesus.
Originally I wanted a creative outlet and thought making a blog about whatever popped into my head would be fun. I also want to get back into photography and video production (if I can get over the sound of my voice).
I can't wait to see where this goes, so sit back and enjoy what will happen in the life of Nadine Yvonne. I hope what I share can bring you joy in some way.
